Wage
$20 to $24 Per Hour (Based On Experience)
We are looking to hire a highly efficient delivery driver/event installer to deliver a wide range of event rental equipment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, problem-solving and event installations. To be successful in this role, you must be able to follow detailed instructions, follow all company safety practices and provide exceptional customer service. Ultimately, an exceptional delivery driver/ event installer will engage with clients and customers to ensure their expectations are met.
Responsibilities
- Drive various vehicles from Nissan vans to Hino 5 Ton Trucks
- To be able to navigate deliveries and pickups in Northern Alberta and surrounding areas
- Compile accurate delivery records and reports including obtaining customer's signatures as an acknowledgement of having received the delivered rental equipment
- Effectively communicate with clients and customers to resolve complaints or inquiries
- Unload equipment from trucks into event venues, including installing chairs and building stages
- Load truck properly after an event is completed and return the equipment back to the warehouse
- Build and maintain solid inter-departmental relationships to ensure effective communication
Requirements
- Class 5 driver's license or higher
- Clean drivers abstract and three years of driving experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to perform under stress
- Conflict management skills
- Excellent multitasking ability alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina and high energy levels
- The ability to work flexible hours
